TikTok Users Can’t Get Enough of That Wild “Wednesday” Dance

Wednesday created quite a splash since premiering on Netflix and one moment, in particular, got everyone talking. Wednesday’s wild dance from the show’s fourth episode quickly became a viral sensation, and TikTok users can’t get enough of recreating her moves.

The coming-of-age tale chronicling Wednesday Addams’ teenage years at Nevermore Academy is Netflix’s buzziest show right now, and it quickly set a new record for most hours viewed in a week for an English-language series on this streaming platform.

The show gave us many iconic moments that got everyone talking, but none of them compares to Wednesday’s dance to “Goo Goo Much” by The Cramps. The actress Jenna Ortega revealed she came up with the dance on her own and that she felt really insecure about it because she’s not a dancer or choreographer.

The videos of her elaborate routine quickly went viral following the show’s premiere, drawing comparison to Lisa Loring’s dance from the original 60s show The Addams Family—and that was just the beginning!

TikTok users were so impressed by the dance, that they couldn’t resist sharing their own version, dressing up as Wednesday and copying her dance moves. It turned out the viral dance is pretty easy to copy, and you only need to master four moves to get it done!
