The works of the famous painter, Vincent van Gogh, has come to life through the new fashion collection called “Vans x Van Gogh Museum,” created by the shoe brand Vans and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
The collection not only includes signature Vans shoewear, but also jackets, shirts, hoodies and baseball caps. Each item has been inspired by Van Gogh’s works such as Sunflowers, Skull, Almond Blossom and the Dutch painter’s self-portrait.
“We are delighted with the Vans x Van Gogh Museum collection, as it ties in with our mission to make the life and work of Vincent van Gogh accessible to as many people as possible in order to enrich and inspire them,” Managing Director of the Van Gogh Museum, Adriaan Dönszelmann, said.
The fashion line will be available by Aug. 3 through Vans’ official website and in the museum store. Part of the proceeds will go to the museum’s conservation.
