When they notice a pothole in their neighborhood, people usually either ignore it or report it to the street maintenance service. Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger decided to pick a third option and take care of it by himself.

Schwarzenegger posted a video on his Twitter earlier this week that shows him fixing a pothole in his Los Angeles suburban neighborhood of Brentwood. Apparently, a giant pothole has been damaging cars and bicycles for weeks, so the Terminator star got tired of waiting for someone to fix it up.

The clip sees Schwarzenegger getting his hands dirty and actually doing the job himself alongside a few helpers. At one point, a car stops, and the woman behind the driving wheel starts thanking Schwarzenegger.

“You have to do it yourself. This is crazy. For three weeks, I’ve been waiting for this hole to be closed,” Schwarzenegger responds.

When Associated Press reached out to Schwarzenegger to learn more about the story, the actor’s spokesperson Daniel Ketchell shared that the damage on the local roads was a result of winter storms. Brentwood residents have been desperate to have the road fixed. This ended up prompting Schwarzenegger to take things into his own hands.
