Telemarketers are really persistent—you have to give them that. Regardless of whether you politely tell them you are not interested or hang up the phone each time, they will continue calling. Tired of dealing with these calls on a daily basis, TikTok user @ladykiernan decided to get some fun out with it.
In a recent viral video, @ladykiernan showed social media users how she deals with spam callers and telemarketers. Instead of telling them to stop calling or hanging up, she simply comes up with hilarious ways to confuse them.
For example, she responded on one call by telling the caller they reached “Miguel’s mortuary and taco stand, where yesterday’s grief is today’s beef.” As you might guess, she didn’t get any response, and the caller immediately hung up.
On another occasion, the TikToker acted like she was in distress, saying there was “blood everywhere.” But before even finishing her bit, which included a call for help, the telemarketer ended the call. It appears that they really just care about selling their stuff and nothing else.
