Meet 33-year-old Sara Johansson, a pilot from Sweden. She has worked as a commercial pilot for two and a half years and now flies a Falcon 7X on corporate services.
She used to worked as a hairdresser before she found her passion of being in a cockpit of a Boeing. She was initially afraid of flying when she was younger, but now admits that she loves flying a 60-ton plane.
Johansson trained to be a pilot after she was allowed to sit in an aircraft’s cockpit. The difficult training and flights weren’t the only hindrances but also the extra-challenging situations because she’s a woman. Despite of it, she surpassed all the tests and now making her dream a reality.
With more than 28k Instagram followers, she shares her behind-the-scenes photos of her job and her globe-trotting lifestyle. She hopes that her story will encourage everyone to never give up on your dreams.
“’Hard work pays off. There are no shortcuts to anything in life, but if you keep fighting for it, there is a bigger chance for it to happen,” she said.
