Inge Ginsberg, is a 96-year-old, Austrian-born grandmother and a Holocaust survivor who, three years ago, became the lead singer for a death metal bend called Inge & the TritoneKings.

She was a writer her whole life, and after the war, together with her husband, composer Otto Kolleman, moved to Los Angeles, where the couple wrote songs for big artist. However, in the late 1950s Inge got bored, left Hollywood and divorced her husband.

The Jewish grandma writes the lyrics herself, which she shouts in English and German. Inge doesn’t know how to sing so, she joined a heavy metal bend, because, according to her “you just have to say the words.”
