If you’re so obsessed with nature that you’d be willing to wear a bag that looks just like a leaf, it turns out you’re not the only one! One couple from Hungary made quite a splash on Instagram when they started crafting nature-inspired bags under the moniker Leafling Bags.
This brand was founded by the couple Gabriella and Adam, who run their small studio in Budapest, Hungary. Gabriella started experimenting with sewing after borrowing a sewing machine from a friend’s mom, and her life turned upside down when her favorite bag broke.
Instead of simply buying a new bag, she decided to make her own and started experimenting with different designs. Everyone around her liked the bag so much that they encouraged her to keep going and create more amazing models.
This eventually led to the inception of Leafling Bags in 2013, and Gabriella went on to craft many backpacks, crossbody bags, totes, and purses in the years to come. They’re all inspired by nature, and she uses vegan and waterproof fabrics to bring them to life.
“Our love of nature and the outdoors helped us to create bags and accessories that are both useful and stylish… We have entire sketchbooks filled with the ideas we’ve come up with over the years,” reads Leafling Bags’ official website.
