American Artist Draws Hyper-Realistic Portraits

Dylan Eakin is a Seattle, Washington-based talented artist whose work is so detailed that you could easily mix it with black and white photographs. He has a degree in sculptural art, however, he decided he would pursue his career in photorealism. In 2016 he began training himself to became a photorealistic artist.

“It’s been a bit of a journey, but I’m finally at a place, where I’m truly proud of my work,” the artist wrote on Bored Panda. “Charcoal is the main medium I used, with graphite for the finer details. Every once in awhile, I’ll use tiny points of white paint for the highlights.”

Eakin shares his work on his social media accounts, mostly on Instagram where he has attracted over 40.2 thousand fans. You can also find his hyper-realistic creations on Patreon, as well.
