Nowadays there are so many endangered species in our world that it is both sad and scary in the same time. However, one artist came up with an idea to bring awareness of the possible disappearance of emblematic animals from the mountains.

Julien Nonnon, a visual artist created a project called the Crying Animals, a photography series made with a projector.

“It’s a cry of the heart calling to save and showcase the beauty of the world that surrounds us.” – Nonnon said. With an ephemeral nature of my frescoes made possible by a powerful projector, I wish to make the public aware of the threats these animals face in their natural environments.”

The artist wants to expand his photography series and project even more images of distinctive animals in other parts of the world. Lions in the Moroccan Atlas, which species disappeared over 60 years ago, pumas in California and gorillas in the Great Lakes Region are just some of the images Nonnon will show.
