If you’re dreaming of traveling the world with your soulmate and need some inspiration, the traveling couple Bettina and Kyle will give you a push in the right direction. The masterminds behind travel blog The Next Trip have visited over 50 countries by each other’s side and they’re showing no signs of stopping.
Bettina and Kyle met in Helsinki, Finland while studying abroad. Bettina hails from Bern, Switzerland, while Kyle was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, and they decided to give a long-distance relationship a shot once they went back home after their studies.
After countless cross-Atlantic flights, Bettina moved to Canada, but life took them in a different direction two years later. They moved to Chicago and spent five years living there before deciding to leave it all behind and travel the world by each other’s side.
They have visited all 50 US states and over 50 countries since embarking on this journey and started their travel blog in the hope they’ll inspire other people to hit the road.
“We both started traveling at a young age and love visiting new countries, immersing ourselves into different cultures, and trying local specialties all over the world… We want to show you that even with a full-time job and busy everyday life, there is always room for a little adventure,” the duo explained on their blog.
