Ari Puguh is a full-time illustrator working in an educational company in the United Arab Emirates. It’s clear that he loves what he does because he also uses his free time to create visual art. Puguh got his Bachelor degree at the Institute Art of Indonesia in 2014. His resume includes companies like MTV, several children’s books and games, and countless illustrations.
Puguh is passionate about art for children. A big part of his inspiration comes from his own childhood. “Actually when I was a child, making random doodles and drawings were just a way for me to prove that I could do something,” he told Neon Pajamas in an interview. He believes that, if he hadn’t worked hard on pursuing art when he was young, he’d end up in some regular job with no chance to create art. We’re glad he figured this out so early because now we get to enjoy his adorable work.
