Check Out Calvin Sprague’s Bold Illustrations

Calvin Sprague is an American illustrator currently living in The Netherlands where he creates his bold and colorful art. His illustrations mostly focus on bold lines, colorful shapes, and distorted body parts. As we read on his website, he lived in Texas before moving to Europe.

“Here he co-founded the studio Pavlov Visuals in 2009 with his brother Ryan Sprague and longtime friend Josh Lacey,” we read. The studio has worked with some impressive clients in the past, including names like Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney and companies like Reebok.

Scroll down to see Sprague’s art which was influenced by artists like Milton Glaser, Saul Bass, and Heinz Edelmann. Sprague was drawn to these designs thanks to the colorful and often eccentric style of these and similar artists.
