Daniel Bennan Crafts Detailed Automata of The Beatles

Daniel Bennan is an Argentinean artist who decided to turn his love for rock and roll music into inspiration for an amazing project. He created detailed automata of the legendary British band The Beatles and left internet users in awe.

Automata are actually self-operating machines that follow a set of predetermined operations, sequences, or moves and are usually powered by some sort of engine. In this particular case, The Beatles automata are programmed to recreate some of the legendary moments of their careers.

Bennan actually created two separate sets of automata inspired by The Beatles. Each automaton was done with great attention to detail and its distinct moves.

The first set recreated the Beatles’ live performance at The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. This was the debut live performance by The Beatles in the United States, and 73 million people watched it on their TV.

The second set was dedicated to the iconic photo of The Beatles walking across Abbey Road. Used as the cover of the band’s eleventh studio album Abbey Road, it became arguably the most recognizable photo in rock history.

Bennan also has several other intriguing automata projects, including one dedicated to guitarist Jimi Hendrix. You can learn more on his YouTube channel or on his social media.
