With 3.1 million followers on Instagram and 1.9 million more on TikTok, Brown is one of the most popular vegan food bloggers in the world, but when did she decide to switch to a vegan diet? She gave it a try during her college years and having limited resources didn’t stop her from living her best plant-based life.
“From feta cheese to soft-serve ice cream, to cheesy pizza, I was scared to give up my favorite foods. In my college dorm, I had to get creative… Four months into plant-based eating, I lost 15 pounds, my skin was clearer, I had so much more energy, and my chronic heartburn disappeared,” writes Brown on her blog.
