Think that cats can’t enjoy soccer games? Well, a graphic designer known as Mo strongly disagrees. As a matter of fact, Mo recently did an entire series of artworks that shows cats as soccer fans.
For this project, Mo had some major help in Artificial Intelligence. They used the AI program Midjourney, which creates images based on the provided textual description. In this case, Mo came up with the idea and expressed it using words which then Midjourney brought to reality in the form of digital artworks.
“I feel like befriending a partner, where I – a person behind ideas and the AI bot (Midjourney) is a hardworking partner who actually does the doings,” they explain.
According to Mo, they like the use of AI programs because they help him visualize his “wildest dreams and ideas” and bring them to life “before my very eyes.” However, he also employs traditional techniques for his other projects, including designing book covers and making product photography.
In Mo’s works, cats are portrayed as adorable fluffy kittens watching a soccer game unfold. Each of them seems immersed in the action on the field while munching on snacks as all true soccer fans do. So, check out these intriguing artworks and see if you can recognize yourself or your friends.
