Zach may seem like a happy-go-lucky person when you look at his illustrations, but he went through many ups and downs before starting this comics series in 2011. It was his last-ditch effort to find fulfillment in his life after realizing that he was at his happiest when making people laugh.
Even though they’re undeniably funny, Zach’s comics don’t necessarily explore light and easy topics. He’s constantly trying to find humor in the absurdity of everyday life and ponder life’s big questions in an amusing way.
“A lot of people use humor to deal with pain in their lives, and most if not all of my comics come from that place. I think that’s a big part of why some people like them. I’ve been very fortunate to have been able to connect with people in this way over the years,” Zach told Bored Panda.
In addition to attracting almost 700,000 followers to his Instagram page, Zach is also sharing Extra Fabulous Comics on his official website and he has interesting offers for his fans on Patreon.
