Austria-based Natalia Lubieniecka browses markets in Vienna in search of antique fabrics, objects, and other items that help her create these unique and peculiar sculptures. From anatomical human hearts to frogs with exposed organs, her creations never fail to amaze us. Her use of lace, beads, and floral fabrics only makes the sculptures more beautiful.
“I think that human and animal anatomy has something magical about it. Each organ is responsible not only for the functioning of the body, but also for feelings, thoughts, and emotions, and these transport us to another magical dimension,” the artist tells This is Colossal.
