Girl Posts Unedited Images of Her Face Full Of Acne

Sofia Grahn is a Swedish social media influencer who suffers from acne and isn’t afraid to show it. Instead, the Health Promotion and Nutritional Science graduate embraces her skin condition.

Just like many other teenagers, she started suffering from acne in her teen years. However, back in 2018, her skin condition began to affect her life, especially her mental health. She was prescribed antibiotics and offered heavy medication, which she refused to take.

Due to her loneliness, she started browsing through Instagram in the hope that she would find people with similar issues. That’s when she came across a community of people who would take photos of their skin without using any filters and share it on social media. It was a big turning point in her life that she decided to start her own page using a pseudonym.

However, after gaining close to 100,000 Instagram followers, she decided to reveal her true self with no fake name.

“I’m not on medication right now and rarely wear foundation. Now, I just go about my life, and my acne doesn’t hinder me. It feels pretty great. I am Sofia. I like fashion and photography, yoga, and hanging out with my family and friends. And, I have acne. It is part of me, but it is not all of me,” she told Metro UK.
