Goats Raid Patrol Car, Eat Police Paperwork

During his time as a police officer, Alabama deputy Casey Thrower probably had many strange encounters and saw all sorts of funny things. However, last month he encountered a scene that perhaps tops everything else. And luckily for us, it was all captured on video.

Thrower was in the midst of serving civil documents when he noticed something happening with his patrol car. When approaching to have a closer look, he noticed that two goats were raiding the vehicle.

One goat managed to get inside the car and was munching on some delicious police paperwork.

“Get out of there. Are you kidding me? Get out! There’s nothing to eat in there. Don’t eat that,” Thrower was trying to discourage the hungry goat, but with little success.

The second goat wasn’t interested in having a bite and instead went on to climb on the car. At one point, she even climbed onto the roof, prompting Thrower to ask the animal, “Are you crazy?”

The video of the event became a hit on social media while also being a topic for several local and national television stations.

Madison County Sheriff’s Office, where Thrower works, shared several clips on social media as well while explaining why the door of the patrol car was open.

“Deputy Thrower explained that due to the number of homes he visits daily, on occasions he leaves his vehicle door open because he’s had to retreat from being attacked by canines in the past,” the post said.
