Turkish Journalist Gets Slapped By a Cat on Live TV

We love cats, but they don’t seem to always feel the same about humans. The most recent proof of that is one cat who slapped Turkish sports journalist Huseyin Ozkok on live TV.

Ozkok recently made a video call appearance on sports channel A SPOR and was in the midst of a discussion with the host Çiğdem Ceylan when his cat decided to introduce itself to the world as well. The uninvited guest sneaked behind Ozkok but was noticed by Ceylan, who went on to ask: “Did you bring your cat?”

At first, it seemed the cat was just playful, but before Ozkok had a chance to even answer the question, the feline slapped him from behind and fled the scene. This got both the journalist and the host stunned, as they couldn’t believe what had happened.

The video of the incident was shared later by Ozkok on his official social media and quickly spread on the internet. Some found it hilarious, while others were impressed by the cat’s audacity.

While many thought Ozkok had an unsatisfied pet in his household, that wasn’t the case. The sports journalist later explained to Turkish media that the cat wasn’t his. He was at his friend’s house during the video call and just experienced the warm welcome that cats sometimes offer to strangers coming to their territory.
