Hula’s Brushstroke Murals Show the Importance of Passion

Hawaii-based artist Sean Yoro, a.k.a. Hula, painted a series of murals that feature black and white hands reaching for colorful brushstrokes and titled it Undertones. His series attempts to show that having a passion is crucial for living a fulfilled, joyful life.

“Each large scale brushstroke represents the unique passions we all hold within and what we can do with that energy once we tap into it,” reads the artist’s statement. We can all relate to his art that perfectly embodies the feeling of having a passion worth fighting for without which our lives wouldn’t be as meaningful.
