Jake Henzler Knits Copenhagen’s Architecture

Jake Henzler is a guy from Sydney who traveled to Copenhagen once and fell in love with the city. Unlike many other people who buy souvenirs, take photos, or write about their travels, Henzler decided to do something unique, he started knitting the buildings of Copenhagen. You can check out his work on Instagram where he runs an account called Boy Knits World.

He lived in Copenhagen for a year at one point, and while there, he hand-knitted a blanked panel made of typical Copenhagen buildings. The original blanket was made of six knitted buildings, each representing a different city district: Nørrebro Studios, Østerbro Studios, Hellerup Apartments, Nyhavn Hotel, Nørreport Offices, and Frederiksberg Apartments.
