Countless women tried to recreate Marilyn Monroe’s iconic look over the years, but Jasmine Chiswell is one of the very few to actually succeed. She earned herself the nickname “TikTok Marilyn Monroe” thanks to her viral videos that show her living her best vintage life.
Chiswell started crafting her persona in 2017 after being inspired by a vintage store in Los Angeles. She loved experimenting with hair and makeup from a young age, and wearing vintage clothes is now her day-to-day style, not just a costume she puts on for her 15 million TikTok followers.
The impeccable sense of style isn’t the only thing that Chiswell shares with the iconic actress. She also lives in a beautiful LA home overlooking Runyon Canyon that once belonged to Monroe.
“My husband looked online and saw that the house was actually one of the ones where Marilyn lived and it was one of the open houses for sale. We fell in love with it immediately. Not just because it was Marilyn’s house, but it also reminded me of Scotland,” Chiswell told The Post.

In addition to Monroe, she draws inspiration from Jayne Mansfield, Grace Kelly, and Diana Dors, but also dresses in modern clothes from time to time. Her husband’s style is also inspired by Hollywood’s Golden Age, and they often film TikToks together.
