Want to provide your plants with a perfect home so they can grow big and strong? Then look no further than BIG TOP POTs, the latest collaboration between artist Javier Calleja and artwork publisher and producer Case Studyo.
Calleja is a Spanish artist known for creating unique characters that are instantly recognizable thanks to their wide eyes and exaggerated proportions. Case Studyo brought these characters to life in the form of sculptures that can also serve as pots for plants.
There are two editions of BIG TOP POT. One features a character with red hair and green eyes, while the other has blue eyes and orange hair.
According to Case Studyo’s official website listing, BIG TOP POT comes in a limited edition of 50. Each pot is numbered and signed by the artist.
“When put to use, the deeper meaning of the objects becomes abundantly clear; seeing nature sprout from the characters’ heads is a deceivingly simple metaphor for the beauty and unbridled creativity of a child’s mind,” said Case Studyo about the project. “Calleja’s figures represent a disarming innocence and overwhelming purity that is a welcome sight for sore eyes in today’s complex society.”
This isn’t the first time Javier Calleja and Case Studyo collaborated on a project. They also teamed up for “POT-POP-TOP,” which featured Calleja’s characters reimagined as smaller pots.
