We can always count on Lizzo to deliver a show-stopping outfit at every award ceremony she attends, and she certainly delivered at the Brits. The “Truth Hurt” singer went viral in a blink of an eye after she hit the red carpet in a chocolate bar-inspired gown.
Lizzo’s dress was custom made by the only designer capable of coming up with something this extravagant – Moschino’s creative director Jeremy Scott. We’re not sure what the thought process behind this dress was, but Lizzo probably said, “I want to look like Hershey’s chocolate wrapper” and they rolled with it.
Hershey’s signature logo was replaced by Moschino’s, but everything else is there – including a barcode, nutrition label, and $0.25 price tag. To make the whole thing even better, Lizzo completed the look with a chocolate-themed clutch and a sparkly brown manicure that perfectly matched the dress.
Love it or hate it, it’s certainly the look we’ll be talking about for weeks to come, and it’s just a matter of time before Lizzo becomes a star of another viral meme thanks to this dress.
