Naya Ismael’s Illustrations Show Moods and Emotions

Describing emotions and moods using words is not always easy, but paintings and illustrations can be much more powerful. A young Syrian illustrator named Naya Ismael illustrates feelings that we all know very well, and it got her nearly 40,000 Instagram followers.

Ismael lives in Damascus and shares her work with the world digitally. We’ve all experienced having to stop and recharge our batteries, feeling the need to disconnect our brains or restore our hearts when they’ve been broken into pieces. This talented girl knows exactly how to portrait those situations and we’re sure you’re going to love her work.

“I’m an illustrator who likes to express what’s around me in art. I illustrate line art in black and white and soft colors,” she writes on her Twine profile.

Every artist is different, and Ismael’s work has a unique quality that makes it easy to fall in love with it.
