Many food bloggers left their careers behind after discovering their passion for cooking, and that also happens to be the case with Vera Zecevic. The mastermind behind the food blog OMG Chocolate Desserts used to be a jurist before discovering her passion for delicious sweet treats.
After giving birth to her kids, Zecevic decided to take a break from her career in law and focus on her family. Her time as a stay-at-home mom made her discover her passion for cooking and her hobby grew into a full-time job after her husband suggested she should start her own food blog.
“Realizing my passion for cooking, my husband encouraged me to run my own food blog… My hubby and I started working as a team. We have joined my passion for cooking, his love for photography and technical skills, to share my little kitchen adventures with the world,” she writes on her blog.
Oh My Goodness Chocolate Desserts was born in 2013, and Zecevic hasn’t looked back ever since. Her Instagram page is now followed by around 250,000 people, who are patiently awaiting each new recipe she shares with the world, especially her delicious desserts, from cakes and cheesecakes to brownies and pies.
