Australian video creator Nick Fry seems to be often at the right place at the right time to help animals in need. After recently saving a turtle that ended up stranded on the shore, Fury now also saved a sea turtle that got caught up in a fishing net.
In a video posted on his TikTok, Fry can be seen sailing on a boat and spotting a turtle in distress. The sea creature had a hard time swimming with something visibly bothering it.
Fry and one of his friends jumped into the water to see what the issue might be. It turned out that the turtle had a part of a fishing net wrapped around one of its limbs and has lost her mobility because of it.
The duo immediately started unwrapping the net while the turtle remained still, seemingly realizing that the humans wanted to help her. After being freed, the turtle swam away, happy she could now finally move the way she wanted.
“Please clean up your rubbish, so our wildlife don’t suffer,” wrote Fry in the caption.
Fry is passionate about nature and wildlife. He shares his adventures on TikTok, where he has close to 850K followers. This often includes helping animals in need or interacting with them in other ways.
