What would happen if you were watching Harry Potter and all of a sudden, Mr. Bean came onto the screen? Or if Patrick Swayze had shown up in the exorcist? These mashups might seem completely random, but the imagination of PixelFaker has allowed the most hilarious, unexpected crossovers to exist in our world. By taking characters from films and placing them in scenes of other movies, this account allows us to completely rethink classic movies.

Pixelfaker started out as a freelance graphic designer. However, after feeling creative pressure and getting burnt out, they decided to take their passions into their own hands and began to create these movie mashups.

Many of these creations put well-known characters into movies they would never show up in. You’ll see cartoon characters in live actions, horror movie villains in timeless classics, and modern characters in old black and white films. The hardest part of their process, however, is putting together scenes with very different resolutions. They told BoredPanda, “I always look for high-resolution scenes, but this is difficult with an old film.”

Besides entertaining themselves and controlling their own work, the main reason for creating these mashups is just to amuse their audience. “If I can make people smile, it already means something,” PixelFaker told BoredPanda. They are definitely succeeding there!
