If you’re always in the mood to meet new makeup artists who are pushing the boundaries of this art form, you should learn Raphaela Soggiu’s name. This incredibly talented makeup artist specializes in creating some of the most stunning eye makeup looks that you’ll ever come across.
Soggiu was born in Cape Town, South Africa, but she’s currently based in Kerry, Ireland. She studied makeup artistry at the Cork College of Commerce in 2014, and she went a long way in the decade to come.
Soggiu’s Instagram page @raphaelamua is now followed by over 130,000 people, and that number is growing larger every day. Her makeup looks straight out of Euphoria and they’re truly unreal, but Soggiu claims only slight editing is involved in her work.
“I always have to edit my eyebrows because when I take pics, I arch my eyebrows so that the makeup is more visible and I also have slightly hooded eyes so it looks way better when I arch but it obviously distorts my brows,” she explained in one of her Instagram stories.
Soggiu’s eye makeup looks aren’t easy to copy, but everyone is welcome to give them a try. She lists the products she used in each of her Instagram posts to make it easier for people to create makeup looks inspired by her work.
