False Accusations
It can be pretty alarming to get accused of something you didn’t do at work. What’s even more frustrating here is that this person didn’t even get a chance to defend herself and didn’t even get an apology once the boss realized their mistake.

At least they acknowledged that Jo didn’t do anything wrong and it was his own wife’s fault, but it wouldn’t have hurt to throw an apology in there too.

Getting dress coded in an adult job can make you feel like you’re back at school. Things have definitely got more casual with the times, but there are still some silly rules about what looks professional and what doesn’t.

Garden of Eden
Working in healthcare can provide some wholesome moments. This was their patient’s first time going outside in three years, so it was a big deal!

Maybe they missed the memo that you don’t have to resort to biblical measures—stealing apples from a Catholic nun's garden—to have a snack. If he was hungry, his carer should have been able to feed him without having to resort to a crime. It was lucky they didn’t get caught, though.
Do It or Lose It
It’s one thing to get disciplinary action at work if you’re slacking or you’ve done something wrong, but to be denied support and eventually fired just for having a chronic illness is totally unacceptable!

It’s one thing to be wasteful and we’re all trying to look out for the environment, but it's a completely different thing to be so particular about something as silly as how many paper towels people are using! We feel sorry for whoever’s manager this is.
Bus on Fire
Public transport can be the enemy of punctuality at the best of times, but if you’re asking us, being on a bus that’s literally on fire is one of those situations where you’d expect a little understanding from your boss.
