Safely Endangered Comics Never Fail to Put a Smile on Our Face

If you want to fill your Instagram feed with more positive content that will put a smile on your face, following Safely Endangered Comics is a good place to start. This series of comics is as hilarious as it gets and it never fails to make us laugh.

Safely Endangered Comics are the brainchild of the UK-based cartoonist Chris McCoy. He first started sharing his comics on Tumblr in late 2012, but later found a new home for them on Webtoon in 2014, and he’s been posting them all over social media ever since.

McCoy has always been a huge fan of doodling, drawing inspiration from American cartoons like The Simpsons and Futurama, but also classic British sitcoms like Faulty Towers and Only Fools & Horses. He never pursued art academically, studying engineering instead. After finishing university, he started drawing comics as a hobby, and the positive feedback that he received inspired him to keep going.

He has shared almost 600 free comics on his Instagram page and attracted over 1.6 million followers. If he had to sum them up in one word, he’d go with “silly”, and his comics are worth checking out for their adorable illustrations and unexpected punch lines.
