Can you imagine getting a tattoo on a plane mid-flight from a popular tattoo artist? Well, this is exactly what happened to one lucky woman.
Tattoo artist Asher, who goes by @luckyboytattoos on social media, recently posted a video on TikTok in which he shared a story about tattooing a complete stranger during his recent flight. According to Asher, he was chatting with one fellow passenger, who told him that she was planning to get a tattoo during her trip but didn’t know where to go.
Seeing an opportunity to do something not a lot of tattoo artists get a chance to do, Asher offered to do a tattoo for her right then and there. He had all of his equipment with him and plenty of spare time. Of course, the woman said yes.
Despite working in unusual conditions, they followed all the tattooing protocols, including sanitization and disposal. They even got permission from the flight attendants. The woman ended up getting a tattoo that said “hello” on her forearm and a memory she’ll cherish forever.
“I felt very comfortable with her, and she felt very comfortable with me after chatting for a short period of time on the plane,” Asher said when BuzzFeed reached out to him for a comment.
