With over 460,000 Instagram followers and counting, Tea Bag is definitely one of the illustrators you should keep an eye on. She was still in high school when she kicked off her creative journey and she describes herself as a “queer, autistic & tired creature trying to vibe.”
Tea Bag’s illustrations became a huge hit online thanks to their incredible simplicity, and we’ve seen her explore many subjects through her art. Some of them deal with the ups and downs of everyday life, while others put animals front and center.
One thing that many of her animal illustrations have in common is their punny nature. Tea Bag loves coming up with hilarious puns involving dogs, bees, snakes, and all sorts of other animals.
