Cake pops are one of the most picture-perfect sweet treats on the market, and many food artists on Instagram found viral fame making them. Leslie Soto is one of them, and she deserves all the attention coming her way because her cake pops are some of the most spectacular that you’ll ever see.
Soto, who goes by @downtothekrumb, enjoys making all sorts of amazing desserts and sharing them with her 200,000 followers on TikTok and 90,000 on Instagram. From chocolate-covered strawberries to custom cakes, the sky is the limit for this food artist, but her cake pops are our personal favorite and they’re unlike anything else we’ve seen before.
Surprisingly enough, her culinary journey didn’t start with cake pops. Soto fell in love with baking while making custom cakes for her kids, and she started getting creative in the process.
Her hobby grew into a successful business and her main priority is to create sweet treats that have the power to put a smile on someone’s face.
“I feel that it is my focus on bringing joy to my clients that sets me apart from others. Whenever I make treats, I focus on the happiness that I know they will bring to someone. The idea of making someone smile through my work motivates me to give my everything in every piece,” Soto told Voyage Dallas.
