Founded by Suzzan Atala, Tuza maintains a made-to-order model. Based out of New York and Mexico City, its workshop is held in the heart of Mexico City, creating jobs and supporting local suppliers, as well as providing fair pay to jewelers, artisans, and craftsmen (& women!) in Mexico City.
Atala also sees her brand as part of the female empowerment movement. Every season, her brand donates a portion of proceeds to female-led organizations dedicated to empowering women to lead in the fight against political, economic, environmental and health crises around the globe. Because come 2020, being cool is first and foremost being ethical.
