These Accessories are Actually Worth Your Money

It’s been quite some time since we’ve been moved by a pair of earrings. But jewelry and clothing brand Tuza managed to do just that, with their original line of accessories being both ethical and undeniably fresh. Something to purchase your environmentally and politically conscious friend, perhaps.

Founded by Suzzan Atala, Tuza maintains a made-to-order model. Based out of New York and Mexico City, its workshop is held in the heart of Mexico City, creating jobs and supporting local suppliers, as well as providing fair pay to jewelers, artisans, and craftsmen (& women!) in Mexico City.

Atala also sees her brand as part of the female empowerment movement. Every season, her brand donates a portion of proceeds to female-led organizations dedicated to empowering women to lead in the fight against political, economic, environmental and health crises around the globe. Because come 2020, being cool is first and foremost being ethical.
