The majority of JoJo’s designs involve cats, both your everyday domestic felines and big cats like tigers. According to JoJo, he started doing this style of tattoo about four years ago, and people really like it.
“I didn’t think they were particularly unique, but I‘m grateful that many people appreciate them for their individuality,“ the artist, who is currently based in Toronto, Canada, shared when reached out by Bored Panda.
The appreciation for his unique tattoos prompted JoJo to return to these characters frequently and even turn them into a webtoon. Sometimes his cartoonish animal tattoos get turned into detailed and adorable illustrations, while other times, the illustrations end up inspiring a new tattoo design.
