Most kids are afraid of horrors and scary movies. 7-year-old Coral DeGraves, however, is definitely not one of them. As a matter of fact, these flicks are her favorite watch.
Coral not only enjoys scary movies, but she also likes to dress up as horror characters. With the help of her mom Cheyenne DeGraves, this young horror fan has so far cosplayed as more than 60 characters, including Pennywise the Dancing Clown from It, The Jackal from Thirteen Ghosts, Emily the Corpse Bride from Corpse Bride, and Sam from Trick ‘R Treat.
According to Cheyenne, a big horror fan herself, the little girl became fascinated with horrors as a toddler when she saw Chucky from Child’s Play. This fascination only grew as she became older, and dressing up in scary costumes became her favorite thing.
Nowadays, she doesn’t only dress up but also helps in the process of making the necessary costumes.
“She’s beginning to learn how to do a lot of the work on her own,” her mother revealed in one interview. “I think she’s gaining more of a love and passion for creating because she has a lot of control over what she wears.”
Coral’s cosplay drew a lot of attention on social media, with many praising the girl’s ability to portray the horror characters so accurately. She also participates in horror conventions, where she’s always the main attraction.
