One thing most dog owners love to do is play fetch with their pets. But you can get quickly tired of throwing the ball while your doggo always seems to have endless energy. In order to get around this problem, one TikToker decided to get an automatic ball launcher for her adorable Golden Retriever Bentley.
The dog quickly got accustomed to the machine, learning to feed the ball into it and then anticipating its every throw to make sure he gets a catch every time. Bentley’s owner Ashley was so amazed by this that she decided to record a video of him playing with the launcher and shared it on TikTok.

It didn’t take long for Bentley’s contagious excitement with the machine and his impeccable fetch skills to impress social media users. The original clip was viewed 27 million times while receiving three million likes and 11K comments. It captured the attention of the NFL’s New York Jets, who were quick to dub him “wide retriever 1”.

Speaking with The Dodo, Ashley revealed some bits about the dog’s fascination with the fetch machine, saying that he’s “obsessed” with it. According to her, the canine will play for hours until the launcher is taken away from him. He even likes it more than playing with humans.
