Russian artist Dasha Tihonenko is a designer, but a couple of years ago she realized that illustration is her true passion. She always loved art and has been doing it since she could remember. She says that she can’t imagine her life without drawing.
“This is what gives me a lot of happiness,” the artist revealed in an interview for Ballpit. “Art plays a vital role in my life. When I paint there is a feeling of pacification, happiness. I am completely immersed at the moment and forget all my worries. Art helps me to look at the usual things at another angle and see the beauty where I did not see it before.”
Browsing through her Instagram gallery you will see enchanting illustrations of women, couples, and animals which she creates by using the Procreate app on iPad. Although she doesn’t have any particular aesthetics, she has identified herself several directions she tries to follow.
“For example, I love a children’s illustration that is pretty and with a drop of good humor. My aesthetics change throughout my creative path and will change further,” she added.
