Bento boxes are very similar to lunch boxes but have one important distinction. While lunch boxes can contain one or more food items, bento aim to cover all essential food groups and should consist of protein, veggies, fruit, and dairy.
Woo wants her daughters to have balanced meals, so she puts a lot of effort into assembling bento boxes for them in the best way possible. She records the process, which includes leaving heartwarming messages for the kids, and shares it on TikTok, where she gained a huge following. At the moment, 5.7 million people follow Woo’s page, while her bento box videos have more than 211 million likes.

In a recent interview, Woo revealed that she doesn’t make bento boxes for her daughters every day. Sometimes she takes a break, or her kids simply want to eat in school. Also, they are not as time-consuming as you might think. According to her, she always tries to keep them under 40 minutes because she “doesn’t want to wake up too early.”
