This Truck Concept was Created to Redefine Remote Work

Companies and businesses have been making a notable shift to remote work in recent years. There are quite a lot of advantages to this compared to office work, including lower costs and seemingly better productivity. The employees have also jumped on the idea, embracing the fact that they can work from the comfy space of their home.

Still, working from home does come with a fair share of negatives. Living and working in the same space can become overwhelming at one point, while there are also concerns about the lack of physical activity and burnout. In an attempt to respond to these challenges, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation designed the NOMADPro truck that aims to redefine remote work.

The truck, based on the company’s 2WD model, allows remote workers and digital nomads to take their work anywhere they want and still have the same level of comfort. The vehicle’s trailer is equipped with a workstation for two people, a bed, a small kitchen with a sink, and a place for showering.

What further makes NOMADPro a suitable solution for remote work problems is the retractable right wing. When fully opened, the wing allows the user to take working in nature to another level, enjoying the fresh air and pleasant surroundings while having all the amenities they would have at home.

“NOMADPro was designed to maximize the use of space, utilizing an intelligent Swiss Army Knife design that makes it quick and easy for urban professionals to switch from work mode to relax mode,” the company shares.

NOMADPro is currently just a concept for the time being, but we can definitely see it becoming a reality in the future, considering an increasing need for the improvement of remote work.
