Nneka Michel describes herself as a digital creator who spreads self-love through fashion. Thanks to her so-called color block journey videos, the Nigerian fashionista and mom-of-three is super popular on social media.
She began posting clips on TikTok of her outfits inspired by country flags, and people became obsessed fast. She currently has more than 884,000 followers and 14.7 million likes. She has recreated flags from all around the world such as Brazil, Georgia, Nigeria, Haiti, the Philippines, and so on.
As she explains, one of the most challenging color block journey videos was the flag of South Africa. She needed to create an outfit combining six colors: red, blue, white, yellow, green, and black. She had some struggles, but the final result was remarkable! She once again proved how talented she is.
Alongside her beautiful outfits of the day, Michel shares empowering and positive thoughts.
“Sometimes, all you need is just to look around you, and you will find reasons to smile. If you didn’t the first time, just look again. Don’t make it seem harder than it is, my love. Just take a deep breath,” she writes on Instagram.
