Twitter User Ask People to Finish a T-Rex Drawing, And the Results are Amazing

Inspired by the recent debate on Artificial Intelligence and its role in art, Twitter user @anloremi decided to do a fun experiment. He posted a photo of an unfinished T-Rex drawing and asked his followers to complete it in a way “that proves you won’t be replaced by AI.“ And it’s safe to say Twitter delivered.

The response to the post was huge, with Twitter users competing who would finish the image with a more unexpected and humorous twist. This included plenty of honest drawing attempts but also quite a lot of pure creativity.

Even established artists like YOUNG & SICK, Cake Nygard, and Bryan Brinkman couldn’t help but get in on the fun and deliver their takes on the challenge.

We have seen lately that there are some artists who are embracing the whole AI concept and running with it. Their argument is that Artificial Intelligence helps them express their creative ideas in a view way. Others, however, believe that we might get to the point where AI will destroy traditional art.

If we are to judge by @anloremi’s challenge, there are plenty of reasons to believe the art is safe. Sure AI can match the human ability to recreate visual details, but we doubt it will ever match human creativity. Let’s check out more T-Rex drawings that prove we won’t be replaced by AI.
