Visual Artist Creates Photo Manipulations That Have a Philology Background

Sirio Berati describes himself as a visual and digital artist mainly focused on video production, photography, and portrait manipulation.

“My artworks are associated with a philosophical narrative while I tackle the notion of identity,” he says about his work on Bored Panda. Game of Thrones manipulations and photoshop creations inspired by early renaissance art are just some of his best known pieces. He uses philosophical themes, which question reality and self-identity.

“As you might know me by now, most of my work at some point is focused on a specific theme of philosophy,” the artist added. “Today, after reading some Kierkegaard, I felt inspired to create some manipulations relating to existentialism. In these manipulations I question reality and self-identity.”

Berati is an Albanian artist who lives in Montreal, Canada. You can find his work on his Instagram account called Sirio, where he has gathered more than 37.1 thousand followers.
