Watch Group of Grandmas Recreate Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime Routine

Pop superstar Rihanna was the headliner of this year’s Super Bowl halftime show and did such a good job that many people are already calling it one of the best performances ever. The show also inspired numerous people to reenact the “Umbrella” singer’s routine, including several residents at Arcadia Senior Living.

The Portland, Oregon-based assisted living facility recently shared a video on their TikTok that shows a group of grandmas recreating Rihanna’s routine from the Super Bowl. The clip starts with 11 senior ladies acting as a dance crew and moving out of the frame to the tune of “Rude Boy” in a well-rehearsed choreography.

The choreography reveals 87-year-old Dora Martin, who is dressed in red like Rihanna was at the Super Bowl. She proceeds to lip-sync the song, bringing the act to a spectacular conclusion.

The video became a huge hit on social media, getting 28 million views while turning grandmas into social media stars.

Speaking with the NY Post after the clip became viral, the grandmas said they got the idea from pair of employees at Arcadia Senior Living and were happy to take part.

“I’m just a silly person, and I like to do what other people want me to do,” Martin told the media outlet.
