Website Imagines “Friends” Characters as Barbie Dolls

The first and original Barbie doll launched back in 1959 by an American toy company called Mattel, Inc, and it has been creating various versions of the toy since then. But there has never been a collection dedicated to the famous TV show Friends.

However, recently, Danny Ashton and his colleagues from The Toy Zone asked concept artist Margarita Zhitnik to create her version of Monica, Chandler, Joey, Ross, Rachel, and Phoebe. She reimagined iconic scenes, like when all three girls were dressed in wedding dresses.

As the creators stated on their Instagram profile, the sets are only digital: “We let our imagination run wild.” But let us hope that Mattel will answer the prayers of all Friends fans!

The Toy Zone was created by Danny Ashton, a father of a two-year-old, who has made “plenty of mistakes buying toys over the last couple years” and hopes his website will help others avoid the same fate.

“Unlike most other review sites, we don’t just give you a list of the best-rated toys based on user comments with no regard to the possibility that those ‘honest’ reviews may be artificially ‘adjusted.’”

They research various forums such as Mumsnet, Reddit, and Metafilter to find real and honest reviews and discussions from buyers.
