Hollywood legend Jamie Lee Curtis recently won a SAG Award for her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once, and one animal rescue found a perfect way to celebrate her win. Paw Works posted a series of photos of rescue dogs dressed as Curtis’ most iconic movie characters.
Paw Works is a nonprofit animal rescue based in Southern California, which managed to place over 12,500 abandoned dogs and cats in caring homes since its launch in 2014. They have a strict “no kill” policy and often partner with county and city shelters to give abandoned animals a second chance at life.
Paw Works is very active on social media, where they regularly share photos of new animals up for adoption with their 100,000 Facebook followers and 70,000 Instagram followers. Curtis previously partnered up with this organization during the 2022 Oscars, when she honored Betty White and her dedication to animal welfare by walking up on stage with a rescue dog named Mac & Cheese during the In Memoriam segment.
Volunteers at Paw Works didn’t forget her commitment to spreading awareness about abandoned animals and found a great way to celebrate her recent SAG Awards win. They shared several hilarious photos of rescue dogs dressed like Curtis’ most iconic characters, from Laurie Strode in the Halloween franchise to Linda in Knives Out and Deirdre in Everything Everywhere All at Once.
