Young Girl Sold Her Paintings and Raised Over $69,000 For Endangered Animals

Bria Shay Neff is a young artist based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and the founder of Faces of The Endangered whose goal is to protect endangered species by selling her art. The wildlife activist has been painting since she was four years old, but at the age of eight, she became more aware of wildlife and the animals that are on the verge of extinction.

“Endangered animals are important to the planet and to people,” the young adult wrote on her personal website. “I hope that my art will inspire people all over the world and show kids they have the power change the world and save animals too. We just need to work together and believe we can accomplish great things.”

To this day, Neff has sold more than 250 paintings and raised over $69,000 for imperiled species and ecosystems. Besides painting and selling her art, she has also inspired people all around the world. She is a member of Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots program, and has published two educational coloring books.
