Ten years ago, nail art was just a hobby for Zola Ganzorigt, but she’s now working with the likes of Hailey Bieber and Sydney Sweeney. She embarked on quite a journey in the past few years, leaving her corporate job in Mongolia behind to become Hollywood’s No. 1 nail artist.
Back in 2012, when she gave nail art a shot for the first time, Ganzorigt worked as a risk manager at a bank in her home country of Mongolia. She moved to Los Angeles four years later to get a Master’s degree in business, but life took her in a different direction after her cousin offered her a job at her nail salon.
After years of looking for her true passion, Ganzorigt finally found what she was searching for in nail art. Her impressive list of clients now includes the likes of Vanessa Hudgens, Kendall Jenner, and Sabrina Carpenter, but she admits that working with celebrities has its ups and downs.
“You have to be so patient to work in this industry, especially if you want to work with celebrities and do house calls. Wherever your client is or goes for a shoot, you also go… You also have to work fast, because on a shoot, you might only have 30 minutes to do a whole entire set,” Ganzorigt told Nylon.
